Okay, I need to focus more on my pencils and lines. I'm too focused on learning new techniques and whatnot to get good color. Since I'm taking on various projects, such as the Jun Li project and whatnot, I can't focus on trying new techniques on Photoshop and continuing making and producing artwork. It's just TOO SLOW. My work ethic is not good for that.
I can't do lines for a pic AND color it. Even though I can, it just takes too much time for me. This is where the contest breaks in!!!!
In the next few hours, I'm going to put up a couple of linearts and hold a contest, kinda, too see who can do some good color jobs!! You have to LOVE to color and you MUST know and be familiar with certain techniques, also including light, shadow, volume, and color theory! Whoever does the best job and it's to my liking, will jump on the bangwagon that I, , and are on!
Also, I will be splitting liberties whoever does my work, I will not take full credit! You would be the artist too!
Many artists that rise to fame did it in a group, not focusing solely on ONE particular skill, but everyone got a gig. I believe (potentially) WE can be those people!!
Of course, off tops, it's not paying, but every now and then, I will slap over a couple hundred bucks every now and then for your effort and good work! Also for commission work, you will get HALF of the proceeds of the commission! It's only FAIR!
